Frankfurt, Germany Meet-Up (August 28, 2025)
One of the greatest pleasures of my world tour is meeting face-to-face with the many incredible coaches who are spread out all over the world. Today, my host Iv Jaeger drove me to meet up with two other incredible coaches, Ramune Lekamaviciute and Katrin Hormann who live in and around Frankfurt, Germany.

Everywhere I go, one of the topics that organically comes up is AskBill.us and how this platform is supporting the growth of individual coaching businesses. So far what I consistently hear is how wonderful it is to have an artificial intelligence platform dedicated to helping coaching build their coaching businesses. While individual use cases vary, the output is consistent — helping coaches focus on their niche, irresistible offer, generating and converting appointments.

From there we dug into the idea of in person conferences and events. There is a growing opportunity to bring people together for specific stated outcomes all over the world and Germany is no exception. Coaches see the chaos in the economy and in global politics and that introduces the need to bring further clarity and purpose in a time of deep uncertainty.
That’s actually the core focus for Iv Jaeger in her upcoming retreat in Sardinia, Italy next month aptly called, “What now? Thrive financially. Lead Confidently. Build a Resilient Coaching Business — No Matter the Economy .” What I like most about this approach is how meta it is. Iv and her partner Claire Thomas from the UK are walking participants through core strategies that work in any economic conditions. You’ll recognize some of these that I use myself such as VIP Days, Masterminds, and in-person events.
I think that’s great to go to an event where you learn how to host your own events for your niche. Moreover, as uncertainty grows, so does the need for people to focus on what they can control and, more importantly, how best to weather the storm.
Along these same lines, Ramune Lekamaviciute is taking full advantage of her property in Frankfurt that abuts a beautiful forest region by installing large teepees that create deeper connection to the land itself. In this way, retreats held there will have the full nature experience while being near one of the most metropolitan cities in Germany.
Main Tower view of the top of Frankfurt, Germany with Iv and Ramune
And what a view from the top. We went up 54 floors to the top of the Main Tower in Frankfurt and got the full 360 degree look at the city from one of the highest points. From every vantage point, you could see for miles … all the way to the nearby hills or mountains.
For someone who enjoys knowing where I am in a city, this is a great way to orientat yourself before going on a full walking tour of the city. Here are some of the views from the top:
Iv and I had heard that what annoys the workers in this building is the occasional fire alarm that forces them to walk 54 floors down stairs to get outside. We wondered if we might be allowed to do that on purpose. But alas, the security said our only way down was the elevator we came up in — so much for getting our extra 10,000 steps in today.
One thing to note is that the Museum Festival is happening this coming weekend. We saw all the tents being set up and the food vendors getting ready for an epic weekend along the river. Plenty of music, food and activities throughout the weekend.
And, of course, after walking through the city, we ended up right back at the parking lot where we started … almost suddenly. Why suddenly? I was keeping an eye on the Main Tower as my north star only to realize we had walked to this point and that our vehicle was closer to the river itself.
That’s what happens when you “get lost” in a new city walking around. I’m glad I had both Iv and Ramune to guide me. Frankfurt is, indeed, a great city and I enjoyed spending the day here.
For dinner, I made my most easy to remember dish, lassagne. Always a fan favorite. It was nice sitting around the table with Iv’s family and sharing stories as each is getting ready for the fall. As Thomas, Iv’s husband reminded us, “summer is over” and he’s right. September is upon us and this time of year historically was my “sprint to the end of the year” as we accomplish all that we can in September, October & November knowing that December is historically a “slow” month due to all the holiday preparation and end of the year wrap-up.
This year, however, will be different for me as my focus will be to continue to “chase” and endless summer as I move into new climates where summer is still in full swing or just about to kick-off in the southern hemisphere.
